Bahamas Sailboat Cruising Secrets Revealed!

We love the freedom and simplicity of the sailboat cruising lifestyle. We have sailed all over our home base of the Southeast coast of the United States. We have also cruised throughout the Eastern Caribbean from the breathtaking Virgin Islands down to the glorious Grenadines. But our favorite cruising grounds of all are hands down the heavenly islands of the Bahamas.

We've visited almost every island in the Bahamas. We've spent months and months soaking up the Bahamian sun and slowing down our inner clocks to match the gentle Bahamas rhythms known as "island time."



We have been so lucky to live such an amazing life at such a young age, or so we have been told. I know what they mean though. Most other cruisers are people in retirement. They have waited their whole lives to do what we have been doing since we were in our early twenties. We know how fortunate we are. The thing is, we made it happen, and we want anyone out there who has the same dream to know that they can do it too, and much sooner than retirement!

We started out just like you. We both knew how to sail, but honestly, that's not the hard part. The hard part is being completely self sufficient at sea. It's also in knowing how to sustain a lifestyle that allows us to cruise part time or full time. We get asked all the time, "How Do You Do This?"
